THE QUARTER-TO-SIX QUADRANT
The QTSQ is the name given to the rural area lying immediately south and west of Cambridge, a mile or two from the built-up edge of the City. It lies mainly, but not wholly, within the four parishes of Barton, Coton, Grantchester and Madingley.
VISION
In early 2012 the four Parish Councils produced their draft “vision” for the area; this was put out to extensive public consultation in March & April; updated in the light of comments received; formally endorsed by the Parish Councils; and presented to South Cambridgeshire District Council, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgshire County Council in May 2012. SCDC confirmed that it would be a Material Planning Consideration where relevant. Click to download the main document + appendix 1 and appendices 2-4. For reference, here is the Consultation Draft (main document and appendices) and the comments received during the consultation exercise.
